1. About Apturo

Apturo is an independently operated financial tracking and organisation platform operated by the owner of Apturo as a sole trader at the time of writing.

Apturo is designed to help users better understand and organise their personal finances through tracking tools, document storage, analytics, AI-powered insights, and related features.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Apturo.

By using the Service, you confirm that:

You meet the minimum age requirement.
The information you provide is accurate and truthful.
You are legally permitted to use the Service in your jurisdiction.

3. User Accounts

An account is required to use Apturo.

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
All activity occurring under your account.
Ensuring your login information remains secure.

Apturo is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorised access resulting from your failure to protect your account credentials.

4. User Content & Uploaded Files

Users may upload financial documents and files including, but not limited to:

Bank statements
Payslips
Receipts
Financial records
Images and supporting documents

You retain ownership of your uploaded content.

By uploading content to Apturo, you confirm that:

You have the legal right to upload the content.
The content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
The content does not contain malicious software or harmful material.

Users may disable automatic file saving functionality. When disabled, uploaded content may be stored ephemerally and may not be permanently retained.

Apturo does not provide:

Financial advice
Investment advice
Legal advice
Tax advice

The information, analytics, AI-generated suggestions, budgeting insights, and financial summaries provided by Apturo are for informational and educational purposes only.

Any decisions made based on information provided by Apturo are made entirely at your own risk.

Users should consult qualified financial professionals before making significant financial decisions.

6. AI Features

Apturo may use artificial intelligence and automated calculations to provide spending insights, organisational tools, and financial summaries.

AI-generated suggestions may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your personal circumstances.

Users remain fully responsible for reviewing and verifying all information generated by the platform.

7. Premium Features & Payments

Apturo may offer premium features through a one-time purchase after a free trial period.

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers including Stripe.

By purchasing premium features, you agree to the applicable pricing presented at checkout.

Refunds are governed by the Apturo Refund Policy.

8. Account Deletion & Data Retention

Users may delete their accounts directly within the app.

Following account deletion:

User data may be retained for up to 90 days for security, fraud prevention, backup, or legal compliance purposes.
After this period, data is permanently deleted in accordance with the Apturo Privacy Policy.

9. Prohibited Use

Users must not:

Use Apturo for unlawful purposes.
Upload illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or malicious content.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other user accounts.
Reverse engineer, exploit, damage, or interfere with the Service.
Abuse refunds, payment systems, or chargeback mechanisms.
Use automated tools or bots to misuse the platform.

10. Suspension & Termination

Apturo reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts that:

Violate these Terms.
Engage in fraud or abuse.
Upload illegal or harmful material.
Attempt to exploit or disrupt the Service.

Terminated accounts may lose access immediately and follow the standard account deletion and retention process.

11. Availability of Service

Apturo may:

Modify or remove features.
Change pricing.
Introduce usage limits.
Temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.
Discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

While Apturo aims to provide reliable access, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apturo and its owner shall not be liable for:

Financial losses
Lost profits
Data loss
Indirect or consequential damages
Decisions made based on information provided by the platform
Service interruptions or downtime

Users use Apturo entirely at their own risk.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer laws.

All Apturo branding, logos, software, design elements, features, and platform content are owned by Apturo unless otherwise stated.

Apturo is not responsible for the availability, security, or practices of third-party services.

Updated versions will be posted within the app or on official Apturo platforms. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
